Dr. Tom Rose

Veterinarian, DVM

Hello. My name is Dr. Tom Rose. Welcome to our website. I have been a veterinarian with Rolling Hills since graduating from the University of Missouri in 1988. I am co-owner of the hospitals with Dr. Greg Jagdfeld. Besides enjoying my career as a veterinarian, I also like to spend time jogging and being active in the Newman Center Catholic Church. I have also enjoyed being active as a school mentor, an active member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, and a Columbia Metro Rotary Club Member. What I treasure most, however, is spending time with my wife and 3 daughters.

Dr. Greg Jagdfeld

Veterinarian, DVM

Greg is a graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and also holds a Master's degree in Veterinary Microbiology. After graduating in 1989 he began his career at Rolling Hills and entered partnership in 1992. Greg works primarily out of the Rockbridge location on Buttonwood Drive and especially enjoys orthopedic surgery. "I have always liked to take something that was broken and useless and make it functional again."

Greg is a Southern California native and has spent the last 25 years in Columbia. He is past president of the Columbia Boone County Veterinary Medical Society and apart from his career likes to spend time with friends, travel, and enjoys watercolor painting."Watercolors are a lot like life--you only have so much control over it and the rest just happens." Greg is about to enter another partnership with a wedding planned later in the year.

Dr. Candace Stormer

Veterinarian, DVM

Candace, a Rhode Island native has made her home in Columbia, Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Developement-Animal Science from the University of Rhode Island in 1993. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997 from the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine. Immediateley after graduation, she worked as an associate veterinarian for the Animal Emergency Clinic in St. Louis. She began her work at Rolling Hills Veterinary Hospital in October of 1997.

As a veterinarian, Candace especially enjoys soft tissue surgery. She also enjoys counseling owners of new puppies and kittens, helping them to avoid health and behavior problems. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, crafts, movies, reading and is involved in the charity organization, King's Daughters.

Candace has been married to her husband, Chris, for 5 years. They have one dog, Miles, a one year-old, neutered, male Weimaraner. They also have three cats, Rosie, Indy, and Mia, all adopted from various clinics where Candace has worked. Candace and Chris are anxiously waiting the arrival of their first child in late July. They are looking forward to the challenges of raising a child and think that Columbia is the perfect community in which to do so.
